Power Back to the People!
Transparent. Independent. Responsible
Being independent means I answer to people, not parties.
The Treasurer’s office is about trust, not politics.
My focus is on keeping finances clear and accountable, not pushing a party agenda.
Transparency → means open books and honest reporting.
Trust→ means collaboration, communication, and integrity in every transaction.
Responsibility – means Careful stewardship and smart investment of our funds.
3 Point Platform:
Transparency - means open books and honest reporting.
Mesa County deserves open books and honest reporting. Andy believes the Treasurer’s Office should operate in full view of the public — clear financial records, accessible explanations, and regular updates that anyone can understand. Government works best when the people can see how their money is managed.
Trust – means collaboration, communication, and integrity in every transaction.
Trust comes from collaboration, communication, and integrity in every transaction. Andy’s background as a barber taught him the value of listening first and speaking plainly. He’s committed to fostering a Treasurer’s Office that works with residents, not around them — one that responds, explains, and communicates openly.
Responsibility – means careful stewardship and smart investment of our funds.
Fiscal responsibility means careful stewardship and smart, community-minded investment of public funds. Andy is committed to ensuring every dollar is handled with accountability and purpose, with systems that are efficient, dependable, and built to serve the people of Mesa County.
Andy doesn’t fit into the traditional left/right boxes. He believes in strong financial responsibility and in making sure reports are done fairly, transparently, and where they actually help people. The county Treasurer and Public Trustee is where transparency and trust come together. My job will be to make sure the books are balanced, the reports from every department match the deposits while also acting as the Public Trustee to manage foreclosures and releases of deeds of trust Independence, to Andy, means serving the public — not a party.
I’m independent because I don’t fit the old boxes of left or right. I believe in fiscal responsibility, but also in making sure reporting is done fairly and transparently. My focus is on communicating, collaborating, and building trust in the community.”
It's important to have strong communication across departments so residents can get information easily and avoid the frustration of navigating multiple offices.
